Reminiscent of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, the boys deliver a refreshing blend of funk influences over classic alt/indie tracks that reult in immensly catchy hooks.
Providing an almost aggressive flowing vocal over funky, slap bass and intertwining guitar riffs alongside punchy, driven drums, The Assist have certainly got a formula that works. Together with RML, the boys managed to produce a track that highlights and truly captures their energy and dynamic, and with air time on Radio 6, we can’t be the only ones who think so.
